Can't get enough Mod: Part One

I've developed a love for everything mod. It began when I discovered thrift shops and has evolved ever since. A recent confirmation of this love was seeing Prada and Louis Vuitton's latest shows.. 

Before I get started on the latest, I have to share with you my favourite line, possibly ever.

That is: Prada Fall/Winter 2012 RTW

 Fast-forward to September 2012... Prada does it AGAIN! They kept the Mod theme and re-impressed me. No show will ever have my heart like Prada's FW'12, but their SS'13 was darling! See for yourself..

I adore the daisies and fur, the Oriental theme, and LEATHER SOCKS. LEATHER SOCKS.

Louis Vuitton also did Mod this past season.. 
I thought they were unique in having their models walk side by side.. It showed two sides to each outfit which was different and gives the eye more to look at without being over powering.

Ms. Westwood, I love you.

Vivienne Westwood is my favourite fashion designer. 

It's the whimsical red hair, British accent, and obscure insanity that is her personality and collections. She's unlike the others, really. 

She's so smart when it comes to fashion design, climate change, and caring for the environment. 

What I like most about her:

1. She's a British fashion designer.
2. She's unexpected.

Things you should know about her:

1. She's British.
2. Full name: Vivienne Isabel Swire
3. Began designing clothes in 1971.
4. Won British Designer of the Year in 1990
5. Her son is the founder of Agent Provocateur.
6. World's End is her boutique in London (my dream is to go there.)
